Lauren Lluveras is a writer and PhD candidate in African & African Diaspora Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Her work explores water, memory, intimacy, and Black women’s interior lives across the Gulf South and the Caribbean. She is interested in folklore, cosmology, and the ways belief shapes everyday relationships.
