Nikita Haynie

Nikita Haynie is a tenacious Georgia peach currently thriving in the sunflowers of Lawrence, KS. She is an educator, creative, womanist, and writer. She is the creator of Write On, Black Girl a movement dedicated to amplifying the voices of Black women who write. Nikita’s mission is to influence the world through storytelling centering on Black women, and our experiences. She writes content intersecting faith, Black womanhood, and culture. She has been featured and worked with Yahoo! Life, Bitch Media, the ReIMAGINED Project, and Black Superwoman Chronicles. Nikita is committed to leaving a legacy of writing, black womanhood, and creativity in the world. She lives by the words, “Writing is my superpower” as she believes it is her calling to galvanize and continue to create space for Black women and girls’ voices to be heard.
