Jola Naibi was raised in Lagos, Nigeria, went to school in the U.K., has lived in Switzerland, and now lives in the U.S. Reading and writing fuel her energy, and her first book, Terra Cotta Beauty, which was published in 2014, is a collection of short stories set in Lagos.
