The Editor

Ianna A. Small | Founder & Editor in Chief

Ianna is the creator of midnight & indigo, a love letter to Black women like herself, who long to reach the pinnacle of their purpose. A proud graduate of Syracuse University, she has 20+ years of experience developing partnerships, distribution, and content marketing initiatives for media brands. An avid fan of Black and South Indian literature, and all things Jesus + The Golden Girls + Michelle Obama + cultural food docs, she dreams of one day running m&i from a lounge chair overlooking the archipelagos of Santorini, her happy place.
